This is likely to be my quickest post yet--mainly 4 pictures! I just wanted to make sure I posted in May...I didn't want to miss a month and I wanted to record that today marks day 55 of my photo and haiku #100dayproject and #100daysofsybsnoticing--over halfway. I have faithfully posted a photo and a haiku each day for the last 55 consecutive days. These daily challenges excite me. I love to see the accumulation of effort, energy and creativity, the record of days and moments noticed. It reinforces my 'life equation' of
little x little= lots + lots Now i just need to get back on track with my tai chi and clearing/tidying/decluttering. Some daily things are much easier to maintain than others! Applying my equation and seeing something which records the time put in helps. What reinforces you to keep at something? Discovering what works can be the key to maintaining a habit or ritual that you'd like to have in your life. Speaking of consistency, I won 2nd prize for my art review in the annual NOWW contests last night--I caught the 1/2 hour awards ceremony before I went in for my midnight shift...my last before 4 days off. Being recognised for perseverance feels wonderful. Take 10 minutes today, just 10 minutes, start with that, even stay with that, and begin to build a regular ritual that will ease your soul and please you. Have a lovely day. Cherish yourself.
