Again, super fast, before work and while with an ear open for trick or treaters at the door. A different Halloween. Who knows if any kids will come tonight. I'm in the middle of midnights and when I got up, Rob had arranged the big bags of chips we give out (we have very few kids at the best of times) by alternating flavours. As soon as i saw them, I put all the cour cream and onion ones to the back! (my favourite flavour.) Sorry kids but sour cream and onion isn't a kid favourite any way, right? At present my lovely hubby is driving all around town hunting down all the grandkids to give them their treat backs. And apparently there's one left for me! Hahaha! Some of us never grow up. Lots going on--work is stressful with bedbugs in the office and in one tenant's apartment, threat of someone coming home with a superbug, a full timer returning so the schedules will be different again for sign up...and then covid. But the last couple of nights have been lovely and quiet and people have slept well so I'm hoping that's especially so tonight as it's also the time change and I work for 11 hours instead of the usual 10 tonight. Posting pictures from the #100days--these from #100daysofsybcreating (a daily piece of art in addition to the haiku which was too much of a challenge!) and my newest one (8 days in) #100daysofsybwriting which is simply 'haiku and picture'. A general picture which includes photos again is much easier to post. Most of the NOWW magazine is done, up to Doug mainly now to design it. ParaTactics, poetry group, done for this month--a great meeting--and LUNA on Monday--I still have to write a few pages for that. My art has gone by the wayside lately (except for some pages for The Tarot for Your Inner Child course which was fun but which i haven't fully finished yet even though it's over (lifetime access has to be a thing for me if i join a course! Oh and some ATCs!) and with all the stress, I can't wait to get back to it. I had a poem publshed in The Banister, a poetry anthology published by the Niagara Association of Writers (that may be totally wrong, will try to link) and have had a haiku chosen for The Walleye, a free local publication. It'll be in the December edition. Very cool. So how are you in the craziness that is life these days? I'm posting some more of my daily haikus and pictures/art with one special one at the end: a reminder to you. A reminder to you: YOU get to choose your reaction to what life offers (even with bedbugs, even though I swore I felt them falling from my eyelashes, even as they totally do my head in! Lol). The world needs your beautiful light.
Seek joy. Re-set default. Reclaim your power.
